NORYNN is a handmade knitwear label based in Denmark, offering hats, sweaters, bags and other artisanal pieces made in small batches.

These Terms apply to consumers residing in the European Union and the EEA. We sell to natural persons acting for purposes outside their trade or profession (consumers). We do not currently accept wholesale or business orders through this site.

The contract language is English. All communications between you and NORYNN regarding an order are conducted in English.

When you submit an order by clicking the "Pay now" button, you make a binding offer to purchase the selected items. A contract between you and NORYNN is formed when we send you a confirmation of your order by email on a durable medium. The order confirmation contains an order summary, the total price, delivery terms and the standard withdrawal form, and it serves as your receipt.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if the item is sold out, if pricing or product information was displayed in error, or if your address falls outside our supported regions. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will refund any amount already paid.

All prices shown in the shop include applicable value-added tax (VAT) at the rate of the destination country and are displayed in the currency of your region. Shipping and any other fees are itemised separately before you complete checkout, so you always see the full amount before placing the order.

Prices may change at any time, but the price confirmed at checkout is the price that applies to your order.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept the cards and payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is captured when you place the order. NORYNN does not store your full card number; card details are handled by Stripe under their own security standards.

We ship to the destinations and regions listed on the website. The carriers, delivery times and shipping fees available to you are displayed during checkout before you pay. Estimated delivery times are indicative, not guaranteed.

Risk of loss or damage passes to you at the moment you — or a third party nominated by you — take physical possession of the goods. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please refuse the delivery or document the damage at handover and contact us at info@norynn.eu as soon as possible.

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you, or a third party nominated by you, receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please see our Refund & Return page, which explains the procedure, the cost of returns, and includes the standard withdrawal form you may use.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. custom sizes, initials or bespoke patterns). We will mark such items as custom on the product page at the time of purchase.

Under Danish law (Købeloven) and EU Directive 2019/771, you benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of two (2) years from delivery. If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to:

• repair or replacement, free of charge;
• if repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, or not completed within a reasonable time — a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund.

For complaints made within the first twelve (12) months after delivery, defects are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless we can show otherwise.

This legal guarantee applies in addition to, and independently from, the 14-day right of withdrawal.

NORYNN pieces are handmade by artisans in small batches using natural fibres. The following characteristics are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects:

• Natural fibre variation. Slight differences in colour, texture and fibre density between batches — and within a single garment — are inherent to natural yarns.
• Handmade tolerances. Minor variations in dimensions (typically within ±1–2 cm), stitch density or finishing between the product photographs and your item are a mark of handcrafted production.
• Pilling. The appearance of small fibre balls during initial wear is a natural property of spun natural fibres. It diminishes with use and gentle de-pilling.
• Small-batch availability. Because of the way we produce, restocks are not guaranteed. A returned item may become the last one available in a given size or colour.
• Care is a condition of any claim. Damage caused by washing, drying or storage contrary to the care label is not covered. Please follow the instructions on the label supplied with every piece.

Fibre composition for each product is shown on its physical label in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 on textile fibre names. Any material, origin or craftsmanship statement we make is based on documentation provided by our yarn suppliers and on our own production records. We do not use generic environmental claims such as "eco", "sustainable" or "climate-neutral" unless we can point to a specific, verifiable basis.

All content on norynn.eu — including product designs, photography, text, logos and the NORYNN name — is protected by copyright, trademark and related rights. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission, other than for the private purposes of browsing and ordering.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability in cases where such limitation would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the mandatory protections of consumer law. For all other cases, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruptions, extreme weather, supplier failures or interruption of essential utilities. If such an event materially affects your order, we will inform you and, where appropriate, offer a refund.

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By placing an order you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.

We would prefer to resolve any complaint directly. Please contact us first at info@norynn.eu. If we cannot reach an agreement, you may lodge a complaint with the Danish Consumer Complaints Board:

For consumer goods the complaint threshold is DKK 1,220; for clothing, footwear and textiles specifically it is DKK 790. A complaint fee of DKK 400 is charged at filing and refunded if your complaint is upheld.

These Terms and your purchase are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU/EEA Member State, you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence under Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I).

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always shows when the Terms were most recently revised.
